This summer has been long. This Summer has been difficult. This summer has been so many more things and yet, it is hardly half way over. I am about to head out with my family (Dad and Brother) on a journey to the Grand Canyon. This trip is going to be long, this trip is going to be trying, but most of all, this trip is going to be an experience. I am so excited to go to the Grand Canyon now that its actually time to go but at first, I wasn't so excited. As I began to think about what this vacation is going to be like, I realized that it isn't WHAT we're going to be doing, its that we are DOING it. My dad has worked like a slave for the last 2 years in an attempt to keep his bosses happy and even more so, in an attempt to find a way for me to go to the school that I want to go to. So, for him to take off 3 weeks so that he can spend time with my brother and I, it is something that I am truly going to enjoy, no matter what.
